Nov 21-26: Seville, Spain by Cathy

If you can have a favorite place that you haven’t really seen much of – Seville is it for us. Seems we all picked up a little sum’n sum’n in Morocco, so when we arrived in Seville, close proximity to a bathroom was a necessity. Lovely. Since we were all at various stages of this thing though, we did manage to get out to see enough to know that we’d like to come back. What a beautiful, laid back, easy-to-get-around city. Having come from Morocco and learning some of the history of Andalucia, it was interesting to see the Moorish influence and understand the history a bit better. Next time we’re going to rent bikes and ride through Maria Luisa Park, as our lovely Airbnb host suggested, and rent kayaks to paddle down the Guadalquivir River. Also next time, we will stuff ourselves with tapas and cervezas, in lieu of dry toast and Pedialyte, and hopefully take in some flamenco. Olé.
